Start Shooting Now: We’re opening our first regional photography competition.
Winning images will be published in The Buller Edition, our inaugural print magazine, and shown at a public exhibition in Westport.
The theme
There’s only one: Sense & Wander. If it captures something of what it feels like to wander Buller, it belongs. Entries must be taken in the Buller district, from 2025 onwards.
How it works
Entries open 1 December and close 28 February. Anyone can enter, resident or visitor, professional or amateur. Up to 3 images each. A five-person panel of judges on composition, subject, originality and connection to Buller. Winners and finalists appear in a digital gallery on our website, alongside the exhibition.
You keep copyright. We simply ask to publish selected entries in print and online, with your name against each one. The exhibition opens in Westport in March, running four weeks, timed to launch alongside The Buller Edition Magazine.
